Introduction: Why Dreams Often Stay Hidden
Everyone carries dreams that are deeply rooted within them. For some, those dreams are nurtured, pursued, and eventually lived. However, for many others, they remain hidden buried under fear, doubt, or the pressures of life.
For a long time, I believed it was impossible to truly live out one’s dreams. Life felt like something to survive rather than intentionally build. But that perspective began to change when I experienced a season of alignment. This was a time where I started understanding my purpose in the many roles I carry: as a woman, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a colleague, and above all, as a child of God.
Finding Intentionality in Every Season
Learning to appreciate each day and becoming intentional about my growth shifted everything. Consequently, I stopped waiting for the “right time” and started working towards making my dreams a reality, one step at a time.
In January 2025, I began a journey that transformed my life. I joined the R.O.O.T.S program at Celebration Churches International, which provided the foundation I needed.
The R.O.O.T.S Framework:
- Relationships: Building a community of faith.
- Obedience: Listening to God’s calling.
- Organisation: Stewarding my time and gifts.
- Team Player: Growing alongside others.
- Service: Impacting the world through love.
Although I won’t dwell on the structure of the program, I can confidently say it changed me for the better. Because of this experience, my relationship with God is stronger, and I have learned how to lean on Him fully in every season.
Living a “Dream in Progress”
This journey helped me realize that dreams don’t manifest overnight. Instead, they are lived daily through obedience, faith, and consistent effort. I am now living my “dream in progress,” trusting that it will unfold exactly as God has planned. We truly serve a mighty God!
Rooted Dreams has always lived in my heart, but I delayed starting it due to life pressures. Now, as I step into this new season, I am trusting God to help me build this vision and see it flourish.
What to Expect From This Journey
Through this platform, I will be sharing my stories the lessons, the growth, the challenges, and the victories. My hope is that someone reading this will feel inspired or learn something meaningful from my experiences.
